How to Make Chicken Roll Paratha

Chicken Roll Paratha
is one of the growing street food in Pakistan, a combination of spicy chicken, tangy salad, and chutney makes it scrumptious.

There are different kinds of paratha available and this is a simple form of Roll paratha. If you are a cheese lover you can add cheese in filling.

Chicken Roll Paratha Recipe

For Chicken

  • Boneless chicken 300 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Yogurt 3- 4 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/4 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 pinch
  • Oil 2 tbsp

For the Paratha

  • All purpose flour (maida) 2 cups
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Water to knead

For the Chutney

  • Imli (tamarind) pulp fresh 1 cup
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Fresh coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed red chili 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp

For the Salad

  • Tomato (chopped)
  • Onion (chopped)
  • Fresh coriander
  • A bit of lemon juice


For Chicken
  1. Mix all the above ingredients except oil with chicken and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. In a pan take oil, add the chicken mixture and cook until chicken cooked.
For the Paratha
  1. In a wide bowl take all purpose flour (maida), add salt, and ghee, mix it well then add water and knead it with your palm. Keep rest it for one hour.
  2. Make parathas and fry them in a frying pan.
For the Chutney
  1. In a blender take all the chutney ingredients, add some water and blend well.
For the Assembling
  1. Take a piece of butter paper, put paratha on it, followed by some chicken mixture on it, salad and chutney.
  2. Roll it and serve.
