Chiang Mai Curry Noodles (Thai)

Chiang Mai is a Thai food made with chicken, broth and noodles. A must try recipe.


  • Oil 4 tea spoons
  • Chicken 200 gm (bite sized pieces)
  • Chicken broth 1 cup
  • Minced garlic 1 tea spoon
  • Turmeric powder 1 tea spoon
  • Soya sauce 2 tea spoons
  • Sugar 1 tea spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Egg noodles 250 gm (cooked)
  • Green onion 20 gm
  • Lemon juice 2 tea spoons



  1. Toss minced garlic in oil about 30 seconds. Add chopped chicken to brown it.
  2. Add chicken broth, turmeric, soy sauce, sugar and salt and stir well. Continue stirring until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Cook about 10 minutes until meat is cooked through.
  3. Throw in the noodles and green onion, stir in lemon juice. Cook about 2 minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
