Dragon Chicken Recipe is a Chinese version. A good side dish. You can also serve it as a main course with plain rice or Chinese Fried Rice. In this recipe, the sauce is served separately, and trust it is a great hit.
How to Make Dragon Chicken

Ingredients
- Chili oil 4 tbsp
- Garlic 2 tbsp (chopped)
- Honey 4 tbsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Orange-red color 1 pinch
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
- Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
For Marination
- Chicken breast 250g (julienne cut)
- Salt ½ tsp
- White pepper ½ tsp
- Egg 1
- Corn flour 2 tbsp
- Flour 2 tbsp
- For Chili oil
- Oil ½ cup
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Crushed red chili 1 tsp
For Sauce
- Chili oil 2 tbsp
- Chili garlic sauce 2 tsp
- Soya sauce 1 tsp
- Tomato ketchup ¼ cup
- Chicken stock/water ¼ cup
- Honey 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Marinade chicken with marination ingredients for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil, fry and keep aside.
- In a pan, heat chili oil. Fry garlic till golden brown.
- Now add honey, chili powder, sugar, orange red color, vinegar, salt, and chili garlic sauce. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add fried chicken and mix it well so the chicken is coated with sauce.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve with rice.
For Chili Oil
- Heat oil till smoking hot.
- Remove from flame and allow to warm.
- Mix in red chili powder and crushed red chili. Cover and leave overnight at room temperature.
- Strain oil in a bottle and use according to requirement.
For Sauce
- In a wok, add all sauce ingredients except salt and cook until thick. Adjust salt according to taste. Remove from heat and let it cool.
