  • Chocolate, 4 oz (chopped and melted)
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Eggs 4
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • All purpose flour 1 cup
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Walnuts 1 cup (chopped)
  • Frosting
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Chocolate 2 oz  (melted)
  • Icing sugar 2 ½ cups
  • Milk ¼ cup
  • vanilla essence 1 tsp
  1. In the melted chocolate, add oil and sugar, stir in eggs and vanilla essence, fold in flour, salt and nuts.
  2. Pour in a greased and lined tin and bake at 180 degrees C for 25 minutes.
  3. Check to see if a skewer inserted in center comes out with crumbs sticking to it.
  4. Cool on wire rack.
  1. Melt butter and chocolate till smooth. Cool, mix in icing sugar, milk and essence, mix till smooth and frost brownies with it.
  2. Cut into slices and serve.
