Continental Chops

This simple-to-prepare lamb dish is full of flavour – thanks Chef Zarnak Sidhwa to a deliciously Continental Chops that has Sauté Onions taste to make them something special.

Continental Chops


  • Mutton chops 1 kg
  • Garlic, chopped 2 tbsp
  • HP sauce 2 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp

For Sauté Onions

  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • HP sauce 1 tbsp
  • Onions, thickly sliced 3 large




  1. Marinate chops with garlic, HP sauce, crushed black pepper and soya sauce for a few hours.
  2. Heat the oil add in the chops without marination. Let sauté and then add the marination liquid too.
  3. Cook for a while add some water and let done till tender.
  4. Meanwhile caramelize the thickly sliced onions by sautéing in 2 tbsp oil add in HP sauce and let cook till soft but not mushy.
  5. Top chops with the caramelized onions and serve immediately.
